When Florian joined Bombardier Transportation in 2006, he already had almost 10 years’ experience in global Sourcing and Procurement business working in various countries, mainly in the IT area. In his current role, Florian is heading the global IS/ IT Sourcing & Vendor Management organization, which he established and developed as part of an organizational transformation, by bringing Procurement and IT skills working together in a collaborative way. Florian is driving the implementation of the new sourcing strategy from a sourcing & supplier management perspective which includes the transition from the single outsourcing contract towards a selective sourcing model.
